This Digital Chess set recreates the classic feel of old newspaper chess puzzles in an easy-to-use virtual interface inspired by printed chess columns that once appeared in newspapers. 

I built this project because I love playing chess with my partner during long airplane flights, but turbulence and tiny tray tables don’t mix well with physical pieces. After almost losing a few too many pawns, I decided to create a travel-friendly way to play without sacrificing the traditional look and experience.
