Flight Data Visualizer
Language: Processing
For this project, I co-led a small development team to design and build an interactive flight data visualization application using Processing. Our goal was to transform large sets of U.S. domestic flight information into an intuitive, visual format that helps users identify trends and patterns without needing to look through raw data.
The application imports flight records from CSV files and translates them into dynamic visual displays. Instead of manually sifting through raw data, users can quickly explore trends such as delays, cancellations, and distance travelled.
My role included shaping the overall concept, guiding visual design decisions, and helping implement core functionality. I collaborated closely with team members to refine the interface, structure the data pipeline, and ensure the system remained efficient even when handling large datasets.
The final product provides a clean, engaging way to understand flight behavior across the U.S., highlighting how thoughtful visualization can turn overwhelming data into meaningful insights for the everyday user.
